"We got the red velvet pudding and the red velvet cheesecake. Both were spot on. I am just shorting it 1 star because the location is kind of cramped in space."

"After being a loyal customer for over a year buying their cakes, puddings, and everything in between. today was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. I asked for a slice of cake, but there was no name, no price, nothing, so I assumed the price showing on the screen was what I was being charged for. The lady at the counter got visibly annoyed and said,”What did you pay for?” Instead of assisting me, she gave full attitude, offered zero explanation, and literally walked away leaving me standing there wondering if I should wait or leave. A gentleman later came over and said the charge would go back to my account. I told him I still wanted to pay for the slice. He didn’t say much either. It’s honestly wild how basic communication has become a lost art these days. I’ve been coming here for over a year, but after today, I won’t be setting foot in this location again. Regardless, everything I have to say they have the best banana pudding the NYC. Will be missing that for sure from now on."

"I have been going to Magnolia for years and never had any issues. The service was always great and the cupcakes were always fresh and delicious. The last couple of times I bought cupcakes, they were dry, the icing looked extremely sloppy. And, the workers are extremely rude and clearly have no interest in customer service."

"Came in here because yknow for the trend and honestly thought it would be overrated but it was actually so worth the hypeeee. Banana pudding was sooo goood and I HATE bananas but it’s was creamy and light and not too sweet and the atmosphere was nice too !!! Would go back"

"The café had such delightful colours — almost as if the desserts themselves were calling out to be tasted. Though the staff seemed rather busy, and service was nothing to write home about, the overall experience was perfectly pleasant. With so many cafés about these days, it takes something special to stand out — and this one certainly has that je ne sais quoi that makes you want to step inside. If you happen to be nearby, it’s well worth a visit."
