"Live in the neighborhood and have an addiction to the ham and cheese béchamel croissant. It was a very nice surprise to be helped by the two young men working the counter today. They were helpful, had a positive attitude and efficient. I had stopped going in for a while because the staff was just so unpleasant to interact with:) hopefully don’t have to experience from this point on!"

"It’s a great place, they have some luxury items including import grocery and patisserie, but the sandwiches and salads are a true bargain for the quality. People complaining about the staff- ever been to France? :) but seriously, they are nice people offering a great product to the community. I always stop by when im in the area. Thank you French Tart!"

"Very disappointing, especially after seeing so many great reviews. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than actually helping customers, which was pretty frustrating. I asked for a croissant but was given a pain au chocolat instead, and I only realized it after walking away. At that point, I didn’t want to waste time going back. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to the hype, and the service definitely needs improvement."

"I am a croissant addict. Wherever I go, always like to “try” every croissant if possible. There was a sign outside of the bakery claiming they had the best croissant in Brooklyn…When I walked into the bakery, it was close to 7:30 pm ish. I only bought one croissant to take home for my tomorrow’s breakfast. I did look around all pies and cakes but told me self must hold on for those until I tried the croissant… All pies and cakes looked very appealing. Their prices were very reasonable or somewhat cheaper than Maryland… The staff was very attentive and friendly. She did not rush me despite the store was supposed to close at 7:30 pm… The next morning, I tried the croissant. OMG!! It was VERY GOOD!! I will definitely return the next time when I visit Brooklyn. I am going to buy a dozen of croissants plus their pies, cakes, and quiches!!"

"This cute little shop is very French and very good. It is filled to the brim with every type of French baked good and pastry you could ever imagine. I love their croissant sandwiches but I’m sure everything else is also amazing as well. The staff are friendly and very kind. I would highly recommend this spot if you’re around Brooklyn Heights and want a quality snack."
