"These are the best macarons I’ve ever had — and that includes the ones I’ve enjoyed in Paris. The flavors are incredible, perfectly balanced, and the texture is absolutely spot-on. Their lattes are delicious as well, always smooth and beautifully made. The atmosphere is lovely and low-key, making it the perfect place to relax, catch up with a friend, or treat yourself to something special. A true gem — I can’t recommend it highly enough!"

"Since Pierre Herme has no locations in NYC that I’m aware of Laduree is the next best option. I enjoy their Eugenie’s which are basically chocolate covered cookies with a thin layer of fruit or crème between the chocolate & cookie depending on the flavor you choose. They do change the flavors from time to time. Of course since I’ve been on a caramel kick lately they didn’t offer caramel or chocolate during my most recent visit. Since I don’t always like some of their more unique flavors I decided to play it safe & go with vanilla, red berry, pineapple & passion fruit. Thankfully I enjoyed all of these flavors. For my caramel fix I went with a large macaron which was delicious. They have a small area if you want to enjoy a dessert with some coffee at this location. In addition to the Eugenie’s & macarons they serve a small assortment of pastries. You can purchase gift boxes in various colors perfect for get well gifts, secretary’s day or just because lol. A gift box of a dozen Eugenie’s is currently $52.00. Though I didn’t purchase any small macarons during this visit I believe they were $3.00 each. The large is currently $8.00"

"Never thought that I would be writing a negative review about my favorite spot, but unfortunately here we are. This review is only for the woman who was behind the counter today -older woman, short dark hair with big glasses. She was so disrespectful, I wanted to get 8 macarons in a regular box (not a gift box as they were for me), something that I’ve been purchasing regularly for the past 12 years at this very location and she refused 🤯 she said that I can only buy macarons in the gift boxes. This is absolutely untrue. She eventually put the macarons in the usual pastry box (after embarrassing me in front of other customers) but insisted that this is absolutely never done and that she is doing me a huge favor. I live around the corner, so I got there regularly and I’ve never previously encountered her or anyone with such a vile attitude there. Maybe because I was in workout clothes she felt the need to talk to me like a peasant? Totally bizarre experience. The rest of the staff, the macarons and the delicious large Ispahan that I always order are always a solid 5/5."

"I stopped by Ladurée recently and was genuinely impressed. The macaroons and French pastries were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. There's seating available, so it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your treats. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving authentic French pastries!"

"The salmon croissant was quite awful. The croissant was doughy and seemed like it had been baked a day or two then put in the fridge. The salmon was grocery-store quality. The cucumber was floppy instead of crisp, which I think was the intended way (if they wanted it to be floppy, then it was an even more poorly constructed dish, because you would want the differing mouthfeel to balance out the dish). I didn’t opt to get a pastry because nothing really stood out, especially against the greater competition from other shops in the last ten years."
