"My group of four ordered the chicken tenders, a burger, ribs, and a BLT. The chicken tenders were the size of shrimp and did not have much flavor. The BLT was fine, but the bacon was crumbly and dry. The burger was tasteless, with a singular piece of lettuce and tomato for toppings, and had the same issue with the bacon. The ribs were fine, however all dishes with the fries had the same issue. The fries were bland, hard, and completely tasteless. They were genuinely the worst fries I’ve ever had- just go to McDonald’s. Most of the drinks were fine, but the hot chocolate had visible buildup of sugar on the bottom and the strawberry “milkshake” seemed to be just strawberry milk with whipped cream in a chilled glass. The milkshake was literally room temperature. The hot fudge sundae came melted and freezer burnt, making it inedible. The actual restaurant is very crowded and people were always brushing past my chair in an effort to get to their seats, and the noise level is quite loud. Lastly, all the severs seem extremely rushed, they’re literally running around- to the point where accidents were occurring. Despite constantly rushing around, half of the meal our server was nowhere to be found. When we went to pay- I paid with cash and attempted to pay with exact change when the waiter refused the change, cited he was too busy, and left. This establishment is terrible for large groups. Just go to the Hard Rock 500 feet away."

"Great breakfast experience at Junior’s! The food was delicious, the coffee was constantly refilled, and the staff was super friendly. They recommended great dishes and gave helpful advice since it was my first time here. As someone visiting from Germany, the prices are a bit higher than what I’m used to for breakfast — but the overall experience was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!"

"I wish we had gone to Juniors earlier in our trip to New York because I know we would have visited more than once! We were seated straight away. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and fabulous service. I had the French toast which came with a dish of apple with cinnamon. There was a jug of maple syrup so I didn't run out. The bacon was crispy to perfection. My daughter had eggs benedict which were cooked perfectly. All of the food i observed looked delicious. The menu for lunch and dinner had a great variety. Also had I not been flying back to the UK I would have brought one of the cheesecakes. Oh my did they look yummy and so many flavours. If ever I make it back that way or come across another Juniors I would most definitely eat there again. 100% recommendation."

"TL;DR: Classic New York comfort done right. Fast service, generous portions, and the cheesecake lives up to the legend. There’s something reliably comforting about Junior’s. I’ve been to both the Brooklyn and Times Square locations over several trips, and it never disappoints. It’s one of those diners that’s no-frills yet still feels special. Service has always been friendly and quick, even with the Times Square crowds. This visit, I went for the Combo Reuben, Disco Fries, and Chicken Tenders, with sides of coleslaw and creamy dressing. Everything hit the spot. The Reuben was stacked high with corned beef and nicely toasted; the disco fries (cheese-and-gravy-covered wedges) were ridiculous in the best way. Whoever came up with that combo deserves a medal. And of course, you can’t skip dessert here. I took a slice of the classic cheesecake with strawberries back to the hotel. I’ve even ordered their cheesecakes shipped to LA before, but nothing beats having it fresh from the source. Pro Tips: •Go weekday afternoons •The plain cheesecake with strawberries •Disco fries are a must-try •Times Square is convenient for visitors; Brooklyn feels more local."

"Went here for lunch, was very packed but despite what we were told the wait time was we didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes so that was great. We were put in 2 person seated tables that were close together but we didn't mind, just beware you'll have to squeeze through and there's not much space. The food was good and the service was excellent. We got the fried chicken dinner to share as well as a side of coleslaw and onion rings. Some dishes are big enough to share for sure and there's a lot of variety, we got a carrot cake slice to share and it was tasty as well. Would go here again 👍"
