"one of the worse employee experiences that I had is Jennifer F because she treats a costumer especially me with attitude, like she is doing a favor to us. The rest of the Cannelle staff are pleasant to be around but, since Jennifer F is there I’m afraid to go there because she serves me with an attitude and doesn’t smile. I always go to Cannelle to have breakfast, lunch and dessert and I’m familiar with most of the staff members but every time I see Jennifer F at the counter we have to ask for another staff member to give us service and skip her because of her rude attitude and poor communication with others. One time I ordered regular coffee and Jennifer F gave me the wrong drink which was a latte (espresso) when i told her that was not what i requested she show her rude behavior to me. (that’s why i rated a one star)"

"I went tonight after reading the high reviews. It was close to closing time so the cashier had a bit of annoyance when she asked if we were staying and I said—yes. She promptly asked that we make it fast—we did. My curiosity made me overlook this substandard service. I bought the strawberry shortcake, mango kiwi mousse cake and the chocolate croissant. They get a 10 for their presentation but both cakes were disappointing. The mango kiwi mousse cake had a jiggly jello consistency—I did not taste the richness of a mousse—though the flavor was good. The strawberry shortcake felt almost hard and tasted tart. The chocolate croissant would have been the most promising if I had gotten it right after baking. It had the right amount of chocolate but stale from the morning (I hope). I will not be returning here."

"The staff are always friendly. Love their coffee and lattes, their pastries are always fresh and always consistent in taste and quality. Their sandwiches are good also! 😊"

"I stopped by to purchase a birthday cake for my husband. Got Red Velvet. It looked pretty, but tasted just a little bit dry (it stayed in our fridge two days until we cut it though). The cream was okay, but I prefer milkier cream cheesier version. I anticipated the best Red Velvet cake and it was not. Since I was inside I could not resist a pastry. Chose a lemon tart. It wasn’t too sweet which I did like. I will shop there again if I am in the neighborhood, but I will choose a different cake next time ( even though Red Velvet is usually one of my favorites ). It is quite convenient that there is a parking lot and Petco next door."
