"I love basque cheesecake and decided to try a new spot instead of my usual go to. I got the osmanthus oolong slice and it was super expensive for a piece that was pretty small. It also didn’t really have the texture I was looking for and the oolong flavor didn’t really provide anything. Maybe the plain or matcha would have been better choices. We also got a strawberry matcha and it wasn’t very good either. I likely wont be back as I wasn’t impressed with either thing we got and there are better places in nyc. They also trade 5* reviews for free treats so I wasn’t able to leave a review for a while as their google account was frozen when I initially tried."

"This is my favorite dessert shop 🥰The atmosphere feels upscale, and their creations are always innovative. They update their menu based on seasonal ingredients, and you can really taste the care and craftsmanship in every dessert. I can never walk by without stopping to buy something - highly recommended!"

"The desserts here are really good — definitely worth trying. That said, by the time I arrived (around 5 p.m. on a Sunday), many of the desserts were already sold out, so I’d recommend coming earlier for the best selection. Also, seating is limited and there’s no air conditioning, which can make it a bit uncomfortable on hot days. Still, it’s a charming spot overall if you can get there early and find a seat!"

"Unique Asian inspired patisserie place. A bittttt weird. Corn milk latte was… not my thing but I applause the uniqueness. Oolong cheesecake was pretty good but $$$$$, and slightly too sweet."

"Ando Patisserie is a small desserts shop located right outside the NYU campus, serving various Asian desserts. The inside doesn't have much seating (only 1 seat) but there is a lot of seating on the outside on the street. Staff is friendly, though seemed a bit overworked as there was only 1 in the front of house. The food did come out quite quickly though. There is quite a lot of options available at the place, though we decided to try the earl grey egg tarts. The egg tarts had a dusting of cocoa powder and also boba on top, with a decent amount of earl grey filling. Since we were here for a trip, we decided to wait until the next day to eat it, as we were told it would be ok if we did. However, it didn't seem to travel well. The cocoa dusting basically fell off most of the pastry, and the boba got cold and hard that it wasn't really that good. The egg tart itself was good, though a bit heavy on the cream. The rest of the pastries look good, but would probably be better eaten fresh and not overnight."
