"I returned a pair of Michael shoes, admittedly bought a few years ago but barely worn: the sole had come unglued. The saleswoman was haughty and unpleasant, making it perfectly clear that they had been worn (I know, thanks!), and there was nothing she could do; it was my fault! We have Paraboot shoes that are 40 years old and have never had this type of manufacturing defect, because that's what it is. In short, their customer service needs improvement, and a conscientious saleswoman would at least have offered a resoling service, even if it cost extra. So, Paraboot is finished for us."
