"Two-step experience: First purchase, a pair of cowboy boots for €325, a very nice product, smooth leather, purchased at the Nuage Web showroom. The manager provided excellent advice, pleasant, and offered a very wide selection. Payment on site via PayPal. The showroom is open from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday; it's not easy to try them on. That day, my wife wanted a pair with slightly worked leather, but it wasn't available in her size. The manager had her try on "an identical model in a different color." He offered to order them, pay the shipping fee, and assured us that the product was identical in terms of comfort and ease of wearing (strong feet). Step 2: The pair ordered, including shipping costs. I picked up the order, my wife tried them on that evening, and they didn't fit, absolutely not. I called Cloud Web, who told me, "See if something else suits you. Let's exchange them. It's impossible for them to work. Send me photos, etc." We dithered a bit, then asked for a refund... and then disaster struck! Even though we'd already bought a pair from him, the manager told us we'd changed our minds, that the problem wasn't the boots but the woman's intentions, that he'd paid the shipping, etc. Afraid of losing my €349, I offered to pay the €18 shipping fee and return the goods to him in person. He finally accepted, a cordial but very cold response. An exceptional shopping experience when everything went well, but catastrophic when there was a problem. Unacceptable, bordering on dishonest when exercising the right of withdrawal."
