"On a trip to Southern France a couple of years ago, at the Nice airport I saw the Suprême de Pistache from Le Roy René and, being a lover of all Pistachio-based sweets, I knew had to try it. It turned out to be the best pistachio paste I've ever had in my life! Last Christmas, I decided to buy more of these both for me and for Christmas presents to bring back home in Portugal. I contacted Le Roy René's customer service and Amina Mokhtari helped me clarify any question I had, and thus I made an order to be delivered by Colissimo in Perpignan at a place open 24/7. Living in Barcelona, I drove a total of 4 hours on a Saturday to retrieve my package, only to arrive there and see that my package had been moved that same morning to another place that was closed after noon. I contacted Le Roy René's customer service again, shared my concern, and they agreed to compensate me by sending a new package, completely for free, to Portugal - covering the costs of the replacement products and also of the international delivery. This despite the fact that Le Roy René themselves were not responsible for my bad experience, Colissimo was! The package arrived home safely, just in time for Christmas. Thank you, Le Roy René for making sure I had my package on time for Christmas and thank you Amina Mokhtari, for all your help - you're a star!! The quality of their products is exceptionally high, but the customer service is where they really shone bright. Anytime I'm in Southern France, I know where I'll be spending my money!"

"I ordered 6 boxes of Navette Cookies to Canada. When they arrived I observed that all 6 boxes expire in less than ONE MONTH. I have emailed Le Roi Rene but no response from them. I guess they don’t care about customer service or their reputation. Even dog food is not sold with less than 30 days expiry and when grocery shops have food close to expiry, it is sold at big discount. I paid full price and look what I got!!! Buyers beware of Le Roi Rene if you plan to trust them with online ordering. UPDATE - August 7, 2023. Le Roi René has kept their promise and refunded the full amount for the nearly expired products. I appreciate it very much and will be ordering again in the future. Thank you."

"It's a very nice museum and factory with boutique to learn about the calisson. They have an electronic interactive panel on making of calisson and which kids and adults will not feel bore. And you could purchased the producta fresh from the factory. Love it."
