"I got full highlights done, and they came out very good! I believe Pauline was my hairdresser (I can't completely remember if that was her name!), and she was very precise and took her time to ensure they came out well. She took the time to make sure I got the result I wanted, and I would absolutely recommend her! Almost every person in the salon was very kind and approachable! I am new to Aix and only speak a little French. Pauline was understanding, and we figured out effective ways to communicate to the best of both our abilities, which was very appreciated. My only issue was at the end of my visit, I was told by a different hairdresser that I should be speaking French in France and not English, as I was trying to thank my stylist for her work. I completely agree with this statement, but it was disheartening because I had been doing my best during the appointment to speak as much French as I could. It just felt a little upsetting to feel like my effort wasn't good enough for the salon, even if the comment was not intended to be rude. I am aware I could know more French than I do, but that is why I had tried to carefully choose a salon that seemed flexible enough to try and communicate with me. Once again, I overall had a wonderful experience at the salon and love my hair; I just wish that comment had not been made by that hairdresser, as it ruined an otherwise positive experience for me."

"At last a hairdresser that listens and cuts beautifully! Elise did a fantastic job and this is going to be my permanent salon. A lovely essential oil scalp massage started the Aveda experience, a lovely wash and a fabulous haircut. Loved it!"
