"It's a shame! My son and I ordered the following dishes: pasta carbonara and pork tenderloin with mustard sauce, fries... they didn't even want to give me the recipe for the mustard sauce 😭 even with blackmail it doesn't work. 🤣 it's a shame to make such good dishes with fresh products and made to order... I'm definitely going to come back to stock up for the winter 🤣🥰❤️ Honestly, don't hesitate, they're the best 👌 Well, there's the young waiter you have to watch out for, he's contagious with his kindness and humor and the boss too, don't forget to compliment the boss because he'll take out the hammer 😂🥰 #humor Don't change a thing ❤️🤗"

"Le Vanloo always offers good hearty dishes with fresh market products. The daily specials are always delicious. My favorite dishes are the stew generally served with polenta, the beef tartare (the best I know), the stuffed squid and their carbonara pasta. Always very well received and pampered, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. The terrace by the fountain at lunchtime is perfect for being in the sun and if you need shade there is a shaded area. The price is very affordable for the quality of the products, the cuisine, the service, the atmosphere and the setting."

"We would come for a beer and wine in the afternoons (sometimes while we did laundry-which is right there) but the owner/waiter recognized us and remembered our order. He was so nice, that we kept coming back. It's on a quiet corner away from the tourist mayhem. Prices are reasonable as well. Did not eat - but food looked good too!"

"We had a burrata salad and it was pretty good. The price was good for the quality. The waiter was super nice and friendly to us. I would go back there when I am in Aix en Provence."
