"Lovely pastry shop in the heart of Aix-en-Provence! We got a most amazing lemon merengue, sweet, and salty biscuits, and the local delicacy “calissons”! All the recipes are developed by the owner. He uses fresh ingredients and doesn’t use too much sugar so the “sweet” biscuits aren’t too sweet. The lemon merengue was lemon-forward vs being super sweet and sugar forward! He also has amazing lavender treats! A must visit in Provence! Here are pics of the calissons and a variety mix of the salty biscuits which go great with wine!"
