"I just wanted to tell you that I bought a cake, a Castel, that was excessively narrow. Making it a normal size... it's not possible to pay €3.90 for that. I was shocked. I thought it was really excessive to reduce this cake so much. I bought this Castel during the week, so it wasn't even a party cake."

"Back in Calas after two years elsewhere, frankly still just as unpleasant. No hello, no thank you. Arrived at 4 p.m., door closed. After a 5-minute wait, the saleswoman arrives and opens the door without a smile or an apology. No croissants or pain au chocolat. It happens, of course! But no apologies, no kindness, no smile. If it were the first time, but each time I come by, the saleswomen's annoyance is evident on their faces and in the way they address customers. I'm not giving it a star just because their pastries and cookies are good. But frankly, given the welcome, it's not worth it. Avoid."

"Good bread and patisserie. Perhaps owner or staff have changed since the negative comments on here - queues of locals outside every time we have been or passed by."

"Best macaron I’ve ever had… better than Ladurée in Paris! Super cute bakery, very accommodating with my limited French. T Stayed at an air bnb nearby on a recent vacation and this bakery was a delight for an easy breakfast and lunch!"
