"My French isn’t great, and when I tried to order un sandwich poulet grillé as labeled, it didn’t quite land—though thankfully, the staff spoke English and were very helpful. The pâtisserie itself is gorgeous, with an impressive display of breads and sweets. I haven’t sampled the pastries yet (not much of a sweet tooth), but they certainly look tempting. It’s clearly a local favorite—lots of people stopping in for croissants, baguettes, and other morning treats. By the time I stopped in around 1pm, the sandwiches were already sold out. I did try the Croque Monsieur on a previous visit, but unfortunately found it a bit underwhelming."

"This place is amazing. I got the quiche with spinach and chevre, a slice of pizza avec champigons, and a bottle of orange juice. Had the pizza and juice for breakfast. Just wolfed down the quiche at Gare Marseilles St. Charles for lunch. Ça c'est bon!"
