"I watched the candlelight concert. Very comfortable theater, good acoustics. The filming was done at a time when filming was permitted, at the end of the show. The use of cell phones is prohibited during shows."

"Built in the 18th century, it began as a Jeu de Paume court, where even the legendary Louis XIV himself would engage in spirited matches. Jeu de Paume, a precursor to modern tennis, was a game played with bare hands or specialized gloves, hitting a ball against a wall. The echoes of this ancient game still resonate within the walls of Théâtre du Jeu de Paume, a testament to its rich heritage. Over time, this storied venue underwent a transformation, evolving into a magnificent theater that continues to enchant audiences today. With its ornate design and intricate details, Théâtre du Jeu de Paume reflects the grandeur of its era. The very stage where Louis XIV once played Jeu de Paume has witnessed countless theatrical productions, opera performances, and concerts, making it a cultural hub of artistic excellence. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of this historical theater, where famous actors and musicians have graced the stage, leaving their mark on its illustrious legacy. Today, Théâtre du Jeu de Paume continues to captivate audiences with its rich heritage and captivating performances."

"A very nice theater, quite small for the quality of the performance we saw. A bit stuffy, but also had great character."
