"It is interesting to visit this place only from historical perspective if you are interested in such places, because the theatre is closed"

"Great outdoor space for opera lovers. I would recommend to get VIP access to have some before and during te intermission experience. Issue with small public areas, super crowded and chaotic during the intermission. Good acoustics , nice stage. We had a great time even at 90 degrees night."

"Beautiful building but the tapestries are only a few and almost no explanations."

"This is a very cool outdoor theater where opera performances take place during the summer as part of the Aix-en-Provence Festival. It's situated in an old courtyard and I doubt that there's a bad seat in the house (it's not huge). It's very important to bring layers of clothing for evening performances. Even if it's hot during the day the temperature can drop swiftly!"
